Learn more about The Mill…
The Mill at Anselma Preservation and Educational Trust was formed in 1998 with the vision to create an innovative historical attraction at the Mill at Anselma that demonstrates through sensory experiences, the evolution of technology and the impact of change in commerce, free enterprise and transportation on American life over three centuries for schoolchildren, families, scholars, visitors and local residents.
The Mill is excited to announce that we’ll open for the season on April 21 for a milling demonstration and other spring activities. We will open on weekends starting Saturday, May 5 through Sunday, December 18.
Come and enjoy a day at The Mill at Anselma. The Mill has a Visitor Center that is equipped with restrooms and a gift shop with books, apparel, and our fabulous stone-ground flour and cornmeal and other products. Outside of the Visitors’ Center, an outdoor picnic area is available for your enjoyment. Once a month we also have a milling demonstration and trades and craftspeople who will show you how things were made in earlier times.
The Mill is wheelchair accessible, but because of the historic nature of The Mill’s landscape, there are areas with difficult terrain. Please call in advance for further information.
