Weight Release: More than a quick fix

By -

Obesity is a growing epidemic and considered a serious national health concern.  The Center for Disease Control reports staggering statistics. “During the past 20 years, there has been a dramatic increase in obesity in the United States and rates remain high. In 2010, no state had a prevalence of obesity less than 20%. Thirty-six states had a prevalence of 25% or more; 12 of these states (Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia) had a prevalence of 30% or more.”  (www.cdc.gov Trends by State).

Weight gain in an individual is costly on many levels.  Emotionally, it often becomes a struggle for a person; it triggers a love hate relationship within them and it can negatively impact their health. It may even take their life. So whether you have 10 pounds, 50 pounds, or a couple hundreds of pounds to lose, it does not matter. What matters is how you handle the struggle and barriers that have been set forth that block your success.

Recently I received a comment “I regularly exercise but I’m still not losing weight. Please help me.”

This is a common frustration with many people who struggle with their weight.  And the emotional reaction to this frustration is real and often painful.  When I meet clients for weight release they often share this same frustration.  They diet and exercise, yet they are at a standstill.

Through hypnosis I work with my clients to create a positive change. It is not a quick fix.  It can be a life altering fix if you allow it to be.  What this means, is if you are willing to do the work in 3, two and half hour sessions, then the weight will be released much more easily.

There are always parts of us that want to change something and on the other hand resist the change.  An easy example:  I want to be thin yet I don’t want to do the work.  During hypnosis, you will work with this part of yourself that has been a barrier and will resolve the conflict in a healthy way.  Sometimes these parts that block our success come from experiences that have left a person feeling less worthy or wanting to prevent the event from happening again.  So the weight gain is a protective barrier. Regardless of the reason a barrier develops the outcome is the same…it is a barrier and can show up in many areas of your life blocking success with weight release, relationships, and even with career success.

Hypnosis works with your commitment and desire for change.  By eliminating barriers, you are free to create the life you want, the weight you want, the relationship you desire.

In this workshop we focus on several things:

  1. Barriers to weight release
  2. Resolution to emotional attachment to body shape and size
  3. Creating new healthier eating behaviors.
  4. Strengthening motivation for success
  5. And increasing your commitment/love of self.
  6. You will take with you tools for relaxation: training in self-hypnosis and or meditation.  And will know how to use these to create other positive changes in your life.

While this is not a quick fix, these sessions will give you the greatest control of your mind, body, and life.   These are transformational tools that will go with you and work for you as long as you chose to use them.
