Violet Tulip has got to be one of our favorite colors of this Spring’s color palette. Although it is not as vibrant as Radiant Orchid, it stands out just the same. A soft purple with a touch of grey and blue, Violet Tulip can be worn by a variety of people, and in many different settings.
How can you wear it? Depending on how you sport this beautiful color, it can give a very mature vibe, or it can be fun and youthful. We find that Violet Tulip works well with neutrals — both dark and light. It can be paired with other colors for a vibrant look, or serve as a neutral itself due to its hint of grey coloring. We also love matching this color with florals!
Above, we paired a Violet Tulip collared blouse with jeans and white flip flops for a casual look. A white bag, statement necklace, and some pearl earrings keep this look rather simple, making the blouse the main focal point of this outfit. Not only can you wear Violets with neutrals, you can also pair it with bright colors as well.
Where can you wear it? Violet Tulip is a very versatile color and as seen above, can be worn casually. Or it can be worn for a night out. It can easily be dressed up and down. Going out with your girlfriends or a date night? Pair a Violet Tulip skirt with a neutral top and a bright bag. Peach is one of our favorite colors to match with this shade of purple. You can even go for a peach top, and stick to a neutral for your bag. Don’t be afraid to play around with your colors!
Our favorite way to wear this color is in accessories! Adding just a hint of color almost draws more attention to the purple and adds a nice, dainty touch to your outfit.
