Once again, SWAN held it’s “Big Spaces, Little Spaces, Pots and Planters” tour of selected gardens
in the southwest quadrant of West Chester. The tour was held on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The event included five gardens open for the tour and it was a self-guided tour which
took you through alleys and streets in the neighborhood.
We passed many other lovely gardens, streetscapes, and planters located on the walkable route.
The tour started at 112 West Union Street, where a map and directions was provided.
A donation of $5 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under was appreciated.
Proceeds from the garden tour will be used for the SWAN Street Tree Program.
Pictures of the event are posted. You can go to “Event Photos” in the menu or click here
All the pictures seem to lose color, clarity, & depth when they are converted and sized down for the slide show.
