Colleen DeVirgiliis, owner of Seva Power Yoga, loves to share her passion for yoga and considers it a gift to be a part of the yoga community.  She believes in the healing power and therapeutic benefits of a regular yoga practice and has witnessed the transformation that a dedicated practice has brought to her life as well as the lives of others.  Each day she is inspired by her students and is grateful for a practice that continues to be a source of inspiration, joy and growth.

Seva is a Sanskrit word meaning “service” and this studio definitely lives up to its name. The studio regularly holds community classes that are donation only. The donations collected from each class are then donated to a different charity. So far, Seva has generously donated to: American Red Cross, Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County, The Lauren Fitzgerald Foundation, Living Beyond Breast Cancer, The Salvation Army of West Chester, St. Agnes Day Room, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, yogaHOPE, and Yoga On The Steps.

The next donation class will be on Friday, June 22, where Colleen will guide you through a practice of 108 Sun Salutes¬†to celebrate the Summer Solstice.¬† Join your fellow yogi’s from¬ 6-8pm¬†for this awesome tradition.

So roll out your mat, grab your blocks and straps and get ready for the new summer schedule!

Yoga for Runners – Summer Series!

Join Seva’s own Adriana Tilton for a “Runner’s Guide to Yoga”

Four Thursdays this Summer, 6-7:15pm .

Cost: Drop-in $15, or $55 for four-week series.

Preventing & correcting overuse. Balancing work and rest.  Learn how to fold yoga into off-season and high-mileage/peak race training.
