Jennifer Worthington Lower is a local girl, born and raised in West Chester.  She and her husband, Jason, met in their freshman English class while attending High School at Henderson.  They have been together for 15 years and married for 7.   After graduating together from Shippensberg University in 2005, Jen and Jason returned to West Chester as an intermediate point between school and being stationed in Virginia.  Jason was in the United States ARMY for 7 years.
Unfortunately (or fortunately- It depends on how you look at it) Jason suffered from a career ending injury and needed a change.  Jen’s educational pursuits were in the areas of education and sociology, but after the birth of her children decided that something more flexible and creative was in order.
They have two children, “Princess,”4 and “Little Man,” 2.  Jen currently works at a local car dealership and Jason attends West Chester University as a full time student.  He majors in Math, which is so far beyond Jen’s realm of understanding as a writer that they practically speak different languages. Life has a great way of throwing things at you that you never saw coming.  They certainly never saw each on the horizon, let alone the life they have created together.  But like the saying goes…Life is what happens when you are busy making plans.Â
