Let’s Talk Turkey with Shoo Mama’s Farm Fresh Cafe feature menu item: Dewey’s Mama

Surrounded by friends and family, Lynn Powers, the owner of Shoo Mama’s Farm Fresh Café, carved his organic, local and perfectly seasoned turkey this past Thanksgiving Day. As he sliced, Lynn had a delicious epiphany, “Fresh turkey for all, today and everyday!”

Shoo Mama’s Farm Fresh Café now offers fresh, organic, pefectly seasoned turkey breast. Lynn seasons and slow roasts whole turkeys in-house for two and half hours. The fresh turkey breast now replaces local deli meat on all sandwiches and salads. I had the pleasure of satisfying my turkey fix with a Dewey’s Mama, featuring Lynn’s signature turkey, crisp bacon, arugula, brie and topped with a cran-mayo sauce (pictured here on a wheat ciabatta roll). It was absolutely delectable! So good, in fact, that I came back the very next day for more and am now proud to call myself a Shoo Mama’s Addict.

“We’re a little crazy about our devotion to high-quality food here at Shoo Mama’s. We believe that freshness and taste go hand-in-hand. We try to buy as much as we can from local farms. “ Here are a few of the great partners that help supply the fantastic food found at Shoo Mamas’:
