“This Land Is Your Land.” “This Train Is Bound For Glory.” Woody Guthrie showed you can strum a revolution and do it with joy. In this toe-tapping event for all generations, four actor-musicians play fifteen instruments, perform twenty-five of Guthrie’s songs, and celebrate the fascinating, beautiful, and sometimes tragic life of this American icon who inspired Dylan, Springsteen, Difranco, and an entire songwriting tradition. Approximate run time is 90 minutes with one 15-minute intermission.

This show is best enjoyed by ages 10 and up.

Scoop on Sunday: History, Context, and Gossip People’s Light continues its program called Scoop on Sundays: History, Context, and Gossip, a lively discussion before every Sunday 7 pm performance. Resident Dramaturg Gina Pisasale will host an artist from the production and get the inside scoop about such things as the rehearsal and production process, design choices, and the world of the play. The program begins at 5:30 in The Farmhouse Bistro on May 11, May 18 and May 25. Cost of $15 includes light fare. Call the Box Office at 610.644.3500.
