Wildlife in Winter Series: Part I

Sunday, January 26, 2014

12:00pm – 1:30pm

Location: Bucktoe Creek Preserve; 432 Sharp Road, Avondale, PA 19311

Join TLC to explore the many ways in which wildlife survive over the winter months. Wildlife often leave evidence of their interactions– help us investigate the happenings at Bucktoe this winter! Part I will focus on hibernation and habitat. What are these animals up to? “The tracks lead on showing no interest in possible food, and no concern over the rompings and retributions of his neighbor. I wonder what he has on his mind; what got him out of bed?” – Aldo Leopold, A Sand County Almanac. Cost: $5 TLC members; $10 non-members.
