Join Trail Creek Outfitters as they host two nights of inspired activism. The nationally acclaimed independent short films highlight outdoor adventure, environmental concerns, and beautiful cinematography. Each evening features light refreshments of local food and drinks and a different selection of films. Tickets are $25 for one evening and $45 for both evenings. All proceeds benefit The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County and Stroud Water Research Center equally. Tickets can be purchased online at:Â

Location: Bucktoe Creek Preserve; 432 Sharp Road, Avondale, PA 19311

Bundle up for a morning winter hike through the frosty meadows of Bucktoe to get some exercise and to observe the wondrous winter happenings. Bring your families for snowflake crafts too! “The fresh tracks of three deers, clear in yesterday’s snow, pass through our woods. I follow the tracks backward and find a cluster of three beds, clear of snow, in the big willow thicket on the sandbar…” – Aldo Leopold. Cost: $3 TLC members; $5 non-members.
