Sacred Sound Devotional Circle: An Interfaith Meditation of Music and Meaning with Rev. Ellen Schipul
Next held on Fri, Jan 23, 2015 at 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
This enrollment runs from Fri Jan 23, 2015 – Fri Jan 23, 2015
We will explore intentional sound to enhance one’s connection with Divine Deity, by whatever name. A selection from various sources of chant, kirtan, song, instruments and word will be used to focus on the uplifting word or phrase of the day. Each session will include sitting and/or lying meditations and prayerful movement. There will also be an opportunity to give or receive sacred sound healing using intentional soft toning, chimes, singing bowls, rattles or similar instruments. Feel free to bring your own to add to the experience.
About Rev. Ellen L. Schipul:
As a lifelong seeker of Truth and Wisdom found within all spiritual traditions, religions and cultures, Ellen strives to incorporate Divine Spirituality into everyday practical living. Ordained in 2002 as an Interfaith Minister by the School of Sacred Ministries, Pebble Hill Church in Doylestown and earned a Master of Science degree at Neumann University in Pastoral Counseling in 2006, Ellen discovered a unique way to live an authentic life maintaining the balance between spiritual and temporal realties. She found the key to finding ‘spiritual completeness’ is through the exploration of wisdom and ritual from various spiritual paths, discerning what resonates within and intentionally applying the principles to create balance, joy and peace. In addition to following her heart’s joy of teaching and facilitating workshops and retreats, she has a private practice as a Professional Licensed Counselor in Exton, specializing in Sandtray Therapy.
