About A.G. and Indra Mohan:

We know the greatest influence on yoga in modern times was undoubtedly the legendary 20th century yogi, Sri T. Krishnamacharya – a master of yoga, scholar of all Indian philosophies and a healer of repute.

A. G. Mohan was a personal student of Sri T. Krishnamacharya from 1971 to 1989. He was also the convener of Sri Krishnamacharya’s centenary celebrations in 1988. He is the author of Yoga for Body, Breath, and Mind (1993) and the co-author, along with his wife, son and daughter, of Yoga Therapy (2004). He has translated the Yoga Yajnavalkya, one of the most important classical texts on yoga. The details of his study are described by Sri Krishnamacharya himself in his personal foreword to Mohan’s book Yoga for Body, Breath, and Mind.

Indra Mohan has been practicing and teaching yoga for more than three decades now. She is one of the few people who received a post-graduate diploma in yoga from Krishnamacharya. Known for her serene demeanor, she is a source of support and wisdom to her many personal students.

This workshop will include:

Discussion of the Chinese Element Wood

Springtime Qi Gong Meditation

Full Alignment Based Yoga Class

Auricular Acupuncture and Guided Meditation in Savasana

This 5-Element class is specifically tailored to synchronize the energy within our physical bodies with the energy of spring by using alignment based yoga and specific auricular acupuncture protocols. When yoga and acupuncture are simultaneously utilized in harmony with the rhythms of nature, it creates a unique and powerful way to activate your internal healing energy.

If you’re feeling stuck, twisted up, or just need to “dust out the cobwebs” spring is the perfect time of year to help revitalize your Wood energy.

All levels are welcome!

Wear loose comfortable clothing, bring your yoga mat and water bottle w/lid.
