Prof. Kumar, a TED Talk presenter with over 2 million views, teaches at the University of Pennsylvania. He’s the Deputy Dean for Education in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, “where he continues his work in robotics, blending computer science and mechanical engineering to create the next generation of robotic wonders.” https://alliance.seas.upenn.edu/~kumar/wiki/
Innovative Concepts in Engineering Design Talks (ICED-T)
The American Helicopter Museum and Educational Center has developed the ICED-T program series for middle school and high school teachers and their students to help them address the challenge of innovation in engineering design. This exciting pre-engineering program presents the 21st Century design challenges to public audiences to help increase their understanding innovation and to enhance student motivation to use engineering to make the world a better place for all. There is a $5 suggested contribution at the door to continue to bring you more interesting ICEDT’s.
