The Philadelphia Zoo
The Care for the Cure Foundation is excited to present the 2nd Annual Care to Carry on 5k Run / Walk 2016!
To Purchase Tickets:
We invite you and your family to run, walk, hop, skip or jump your way through the Philadelphia Zoo to help raise awareness about children’s grief and the support they need to carry on in a healthy way!
Run or walk this mostly flat USATF Certified Course through the Nation’s oldest Zoo. This event is chip timed and starts/finishes near the front of the Zoo. Walkers will begin after Runners to ensure a smooth start. Don’t miss the complimentary pre & post yoga stretch, face painting, food, drink, DJ and more! Medals to top-finishers and age group winners.
Proceeds will benefit Camp Erin®-Philadelphia, a weekend overnight camp for children and teens in the Greater Philadelphia Region, who have experienced the death of a significant person in their life. This camp combines traditional, fun, high-energy camp activities with the grief education and support that kids and teens need to carry on after a loss, in a healthy way.
