10 Make Ahead Freezer Meals

By -

With Baby’s impending arrival with quite a few holidays and other celebrations in between now and then, I thought I should start prepping some meals for the hazy first weeks when cooking is not on the agenda.

I am fortunate to have lots of family in the area that take good care of us, but having something in the freezer that just needs to be heated through is wonderful no matter what is going on.

These are a few of my favorite recipes that I have found online.  Super cozy, comforting soups, stews and casseroles – is there anything better?

Some of these recipes are vegetarian or easily converted, but I am eating all foods during pregnancy and nursing and my family will be the ones eating it really.

I am lucky to have family in the area that help out tremendously, but having some soups and casseroles in the freezer is always a good idea! Soups, stews and cassseroles are my favorite things to cook becuase you have a meal in one dish. Plus, they tend to be extra comforting in the winter months.
